Notes, Tips and Considerations
- If a learner revisits a page they took an inline note on, and the page has been changed, then the learner will see no highlighted text. However, the inline note will still display in the utility under its section. This will be the case if an admin changes anything to alter highlighted phrases' start position or within the highlighted phrase itself.
- If a page has been deleted, the “View on page in course” link is hidden from the learner.
- Notes are not saved for admin interface review or reporting purposes.
- The character limit for highlighted text is 500 characters. Any character highlighted over 500, the “Add Note” popup will not appear.
- The ability to add a note is disabled, if the text selected includes a HTML block-level element.
