By default, each course has note taking as an available feature to the learner. Learners can take notes by navigating to the Notes tab in the left course navigation menu.
Inline Note Taking is an enhanced learner experience which allows the learner to add contextual notes on text pages within the platform. By highlighting a section of copy, the learner can add a note attached to the highlighted section. The note is indexed for the user to access at anytime for review, editing, or deleting from within the course.

- If a learner revisits a page they took an inline note on, and the page has been changed, then the learner will see no highlighted text. However, the inline note will still display in the utility under its section. - Notes are not saved for admin interface review or reporting purposes.
