Admin Users have the ability to enable a cookie banner to comply with cookie and privacy laws according to your region or business requirements.
To enable the Cookie Banner
- Navigate to Settings > Setup > Primary > Cookie Banner section.
- Toggle Enable Cookie Banner? to Yes.
Note
If you're having trouble enabling the cookie banner, make sure the toggle Disable Non-Essential Cookies Automatically Dropping? is disabled and that status is saved. Then try enabling the cookie banner again.
Once the setting is enabled, the banner is visible to both logged in and logged out users, including administrators and Panorama Client users.

cookies.statement
cookies.cta
cookies.header
cookies.more-info
cookies.decline
Note
We provide a default cookies statement that will display to learners once you enable the cookie banner unless you've used translations to update this language. Thought Industries’ customers should understand that strictly necessary or essential cookies will vary depending upon a customer’s use (or non-use) of certain features and functions on the Thought Industries platform. Many optional and premium platform features, and ecommerce-related functions, require the placement of additional cookies, which only become necessary or essential when a customer utilizes such features or functions on the platform. These cookies are otherwise non-essential, and are not included in Thought Industries’ description of essential or necessary cookies.
Default Cookie Policy Language: We use necessary cookies to make our site work. By clicking “accept” you agree that we may also set optional analytics and third-party behavioral advertising cookies to help us improve our site and to provide information to third parties. For more information on how these cookies work, please see our privacy policy.
Tip
A 3rd party cookie policy manager may be installed on your instance by using JavaScript in Tracking Scripts (Settings > Integrations > Tracking Scripts).
Options for Configuring your Cookie Policy
Disable Non-Essential Cookies Automatically Dropping?
Enabling this will disable dropping Thought Industries non-essential cookies (including 3rd party and analytical cookies) before a user accepts. In other words, we will not track the user with non-essential cookies until they have clicked Accept when the cookie banner pops up. It gives the user the option to Decline the cookie banner without Accepting. We will display the cookie banner each time the user visits until they have accepted cookies.
