The Admin interface is organized into navigation categories along the left menu. Each category groups together the settings and tools for a specific part of your business, so you can find what you need without digging through unrelated menus.
This article breaks down every navigation category and what you can do within each one.
Overview
The Admin Homepage is split into distinct categories—Courses, Events, Users, Reporting, eCommerce, Site, Panorama, Apps, and Settings—each accessible from the left menu. Selecting a category expands it to show the pages available within it.
A few things to keep in mind:
- What you see is scoped to your permissions and role, so not every admin/manager sees every category or page.
- Settings live near the working area they apply to, so related tools are usually grouped in the same category.
- You can choose from different color modes, including a high contrast dark grey option, to fit your preference. These are user specific.
- Panorama context also shapes the menu, each admin/manager sees only the options available to their Panorama and client role.
Tip
If you don't see all of these options in your left menu, contact your Account Manager to learn more about upgrading your package or add-ons.
Search the Admin Console with ⌘K
You can jump straight to any page on the Admin Homepage from the search field at the top of the left menu, or by pressing ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) from anywhere in the admin experience.
To use search:
- Open the search field at the top of the left menu, or press
⌘K/Ctrl+Kfrom any admin page. - Start typing a term, such as SSO, Asset Library, or auto enroll.
- As you type, matching options appear. Select the option you're looking for from the list.
Search results only include destinations you have permission to open, and respect Panorama boundaries, so each admin sees only the pages available in their current context. This is available automatically, with no configuration or feature flag required.
