On the Thought Industries platform, learners must accept Terms & Conditions before they can complete the registration process and/or any purchase on your site. Thought Industries provides Terms & Conditions by default, however, it is strongly recommended that you add your own legal language. Terms can be set both globally and at the individual content level.
How to add Global Terms & Conditions
- From your homepage, select Settings.
- From the left menu, select Setup and then Primary.
- Scroll down the page and under Terms of Service, select from either of the two Policy Action options:
- External Terms URL - Sending your learners to an external site to read your company's Terms & Conditions. When the learner clicks to view Terms & Conditions, it will open a new browser tab for your learners to read your Terms and Conditions on an external site you are directing them to.
Admin View - Provide Text for Pop-Up - Creating your legal Terms & Conditions in the text box editor provided. Learners will be presented with a required checkbox in order to complete the registration or purchase process.
