This article provides an overview of features currently available in Open Beta within Thought Industries. As features are introduced, updated, or removed, this article will be maintained to reflect current availability, including how to enable each feature and where to find additional documentation.
Conversational AI Learning
Conversational AI Learning allows learners to ask questions in natural language and receive clear responses with links to relevant content, reducing the need to browse or search manually. Once enabled, the feature is available sitewide and can be accessed from any page through the persistent search experience.
- From the Admin Homepage, navigate to Apps.
- In the left menu, click Labs.
- Select Conversational AI Learning.
- Review and accept the Terms of Service.
The feature will be enabled once the Terms of Service is accepted.

Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) helps ensure your content is discoverable by AI-powered tools and can appear in AI-generated answers or citations. Once enabled, AEO works in the background to structure eligible public content so it can be surfaced across external AI platforms.
- From the Admin Homepage, navigate to Apps.
- In the left menu, click Labs.
- Select Answer Engine Optimization.
- Review and accept the Terms of Service.
The feature will be enabled once the Terms of Service is accepted.

Only content marked as publicly accessible is eligible for AEO.

Thought Industries for Claude
Thought Industries for Claude brings AI-assisted course building, content updates, and catalog management directly into Claude Desktop, giving admins a faster way to create and maintain academy content. Every action taken through the plugin creates a draft; nothing goes live until you publish it manually from the Thought Industries admin UI.
To enable this feature:
- Open Claude Cowork or Claude Code.
- Go to Claude > Customize > Plugins > Personal > Add marketplace.
- Enter
thoughtindustries/ti-admin-pluginand click Sync. - Click the plus icon on the Ti admin plugin tile to install it.
- When prompted, provide your Thought Industries instance URL and API key.
Once installed, describe what you want in plain language, and watch Claude handles the rest.
Note
Thought Industries for Claude requires the Claude Desktop app. It is not available in the Claude.ai browser interface. You will also need a Thought Industries instance with Incoming REST API v2 enabled and an admin account to generate an API key.
