Panorama Client Cloning API

We're introducing a new API endpoint that makes it possible to programmatically clone (copy) a Panorama client, bringing automated provisioning to a workflow that previously required manual work in the admin UI. Teams can now copy an existing Panorama's settings, content allocation, licenses, blocks (including SSO), and layouts to a new client as part of an automated onboarding or rollout process, no manual setup required.

Content Creation API: Audio Page Support

You can now add audio to audio pages through the Content Creation API. When creating or updating a course via the API, pass an audioUrl to attach an audio file; the platform fetches, validates, and hosts it for you, the same way PDF and SCORM uploads already work.

Improved UserContentItems Query Reliability

Querying UserContentItems with sortColumn and sortDirection (without a kind filter) could return an empty result set even when the learner had enrolled content. Sorted queries now return the learner's content as expected, and filtering by kind still works.

Accurate User Detail Page Messaging

Site Admins no longer see a false "user not found" error message in the External Customer ID (ECID) panel when viewing learner profiles. This was a visual-only issue and did not impact user management or SSO functionality.

Accurate Learner Progress Status

Fixed a caching issue where the admin Access tab incorrectly displayed completed courses as "Started." The view now accurately reflects real-time learner progress without requiring manual record refreshes.

Restored Tag Visibility for User Content Items

We resolved an issue where the UserContentItems GraphQL endpoint incorrectly returned an empty array for the tags property. The API response now accurately includes the full tag objects (ID and label) for all enrolled content, ensuring developers can correctly filter and display categorized content for learners.

This release continues our investment in a more streamlined admin experience, alongside expanded API-first extensibility for teams building automated workflows.

Skip the clicks and jump straight to the page you're looking for.

Admins can now jump straight to any page in the admin console from a new search field at the top of the left navigation, or by pressing ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) from anywhere in the console. Start typing a term, such as "SSO", "Asset Library", or "auto enroll", then use the arrow keys and Enter to go directly there.

Results include only the destinations you have permission to open, and respect Panorama boundaries so each admin sees only the pages available in their current context. It is available automatically, with no configuration or feature flag required.

Expanded Multi-Currency Support for New Ecommerce Engine

We have expanded the number of supported currencies for New Ecommerce Engine to better support global storefronts.

This update adds 8 new ISO 4217 currencies: HUF (Hungarian Forint), IDR (Indonesian Rupiah), KZT (Kazakhstani Tenge), MYR (Malaysian Ringgit), PHP (Philippine Peso), QAR (Qatari Riyal), SAR (Saudi Riyal), TRY (Turkish Lira).

Learning Path Milestone Reporting Now Reflects Configuration Changes

We've resolved an issue where editing a learning path milestone — such as switching between session-based and course group-based completion, or removing courses from a milestone — could cause downstream reporting to reflect outdated or incorrect data. Milestone IDs are now stable across configuration changes, ensuring that edits to learning path milestones are accurately reflected in reporting going forward.

In the coming days, we'll also be running a backfill to correct any historical reporting data affected by this issue.

Certificate Email Links Restored

View Certificate button in the certificate-granted email no longer leads to a broken (undefined) URL and now opens the learner's certificate correctly.

Course Slug Reuse Now Clears Stale Redirects

When a course's URL slug is changed, the platform creates a redirect from the old slug to the new one. Previously, if a new course later reused the original slug, the old redirect could still take over and send learners to the wrong (often archived) course, which also caused SEO issues.

Now, when a new course claims a previously used slug, any stale redirect for that slug is cleared, so the slug resolves to the current course.

Bulk Panorama Assignment Now Processes All Users

We have resolved an issue where bulk Panorama assignment jobs would stop processing after the first 750 users, leaving remaining users unassigned without any error. Bulk assignments now correctly process all users in the request.

This release marks a major milestone for our AI investment: Conversational AI Learning and AEO move from Open Beta into General Availability, backed by a new set of admin controls, while Thought Industries for Slack opens its own Open Beta as our newest delivery channel.

What's New in Conversational AI Learning and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)

Starting Thursday, July 16, Conversational AI Learning and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) will move from Open Beta to General Availability. Alongside this milestone, we're introducing some enhancements to improve the experience and expand what's possible with both features.

Conversational AI Learning lets learners ask questions in natural language and get a direct answer plus links to relevant content, instead of browsing a catalog or guessing keywords. It's accessible sitewide via a persistent Conversational AI button (and an optional header search bar), pulls answers only from content the learner is already authorized to see, and can prompt learners to enroll in a course directly from the chat. This GA release also includes several new features giving admins more control over Conversational AI Learning — see below for details.

AEO makes your publicly accessible content — published/released detail pages, public site pages, and any course, lesson, or article marked "Accessible to Public" — discoverable and citable by external AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Perplexity. It works entirely in the background via structured data: there's no change to the learner experience, and no learner data or content is used to train external models.

New Admin Controls for Conversational AI Learning

These improvements came directly out of feedback from our Beta customers, thank you! They're included as part of today's General Availability release, and add several new ways for admins to manage and customize Conversational AI Learning:

• Panorama-Level Enablement — Admins can now enable or disable Conversational AI Learning for individual Panoramas (sub-portals), rather than only company-wide, making it possible to roll the feature out selectively.
• Content and Interface Controls — New admin screens let you manage which content is excluded, boosted, or pinned in AI answers, configure the quick-action shortcuts learners see, and choose between a modal or sidebar interface, with a live preview of your changes.
• Branding Customization — Admins can customize the color and placement of the Conversational AI button and search bar to match their portal's brand, tailoring the experience for their learners and end users.
• AI Usage Dashboard Navigation — The AI Usage dashboard now supports month-by-month navigation, so admins can review usage for any prior month rather than only the current period. CSV export continues to download full query history and isn't scoped by the selected month.

These settings are available under Settings > Conversational AI Learning.

Together, these give admins more granular control over where Conversational AI Learning appears, how it looks, and what it can access, without requiring engineering support.

Thought Industries for Slack is now available in Open Beta. Your internal employees can ask questions right inside Slack and get concise, sourced answers pulled from your TI training catalog — grounded in your Academy content and, if connected, your Zendesk Help Center content — without leaving Slack.

To get started, enable Thought Industries for Slack from your admin settings under Apps > Labs. Once enabled, connect your Slack and Zendesk instances from Integrations under Settings. See this article for more details.

Filtering on User Lists

Admins can now filter learner lists by preferred language, preferred currency (New Ecommerce Engine with multi-currency), learner reference fields (Ref 1–10), Panorama client, and enabled/disabled users. Within Panorama user lists, you can also filter by license.

These filters are the first improvements delivered on modernized user-management infrastructure, which we rebuilt to keep filtering responsive and results accurately scoped to each admin's licenses, with more filtering and search options to come.

Enrollment with a Future Start Access Date

Enrolling a learner in a Learning Path whose Start Access date is in the future (while enrollment is open) now succeeds, instead of showing a success message without actually assigning the path. Applies to both UI and API enrollment.

SCORM "Content is open in another window" no longer lingers.

After closing a completed SCORM course from a Learning Path, the message no longer persists and the content can be reopened.

Bot Protection No Longer Blocks Redeem-Code Sign-Ups

With Bot Protection for Registration (CAPTCHA) enabled, new users registering with a registration or redemption code on the redeem page were hitting an error that prevented sign-up. Redemption registrations now complete successfully.

Rate-Limit Headers on 429 Responses

The create/update user API endpoints now consistently return X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, X-RateLimit-Reset, and Retry-After on every HTTP 429 (rate-limited) response, so integration retry logic can reliably tell when to retry. Previously, some 429s returned after the limit was exhausted omitted these headers.

Long Transcripts Print Cleanly.

Printing or exporting a long learner transcript to PDF no longer inserts a blank first page.

Clearer Award Type Icon Selection

The Award Type dashboard icon picker now clearly indicates which icon is selected, making it easier to review and confirm your choice.

Tally "See Results" Renders When Skipping is Allowed

On a Tally page with "Allow Learner to Skip Questions" enabled, clicking See Results now shows the tally result view instead of doing nothing.

Back Navigation Restored for Panorama Dashboard Editors

The dashboard layout editor back button now returns to the correct page for Panorama admins instead of redirecting to a 404.

'Always Display Content Detail Page' Setting Respected Across All Sort Orders

When a catalog is sorted by Start Date and Always Display Content Detail Page is enabled, session content now appears as a single tile that opens its content detail page, instead of being split into separate per-session tiles. Calendar view continues to show individual sessions.

Accurate Learner Access After Learning Path Archiving

The Learner Access widget now displays accurate information after a Learning Path is archived.

Assessment Response Copying Improved

Copying responses from a table question now includes only editable responses, preserving locked cells as expected.

ILT Event Session Copying Improved

Copied ILT event sessions now display the correct publish state across every section, ensuring a consistent editing experience.

This week's release deepens the value of two investments you've already made — your content library and your rollout of Conversational AI Learning — making both work harder for your business.

Conversational AI Learning Suppressed During Assessments

We've updated Conversational AI Learning so the interface is automatically hidden during quizzes and assessments. The AI assistant, including the chat interface, keyboard shortcut, and floating action button, is restored once a learner exits, helping protect assessment integrity.

Reusable Assets Now Included in Conversational AI Learning Answers

With this enhancement, Asset Library items that are used inside of content are now indexed! Meaning, your learners can now find answers from some of your most valuable, reused content. We’re also now indexing match pair activities and highlight zone activities.

These content types are now available in the Conversational AI Learning beta and are enabled automatically, with no configuration required.

Gradebook License Filter Now Shows All Sublicenses

We have resolved an issue where the Gradebook's license filter was limited to displaying only 10 sublicenses. Administrators managing Panorama configurations with more than 10 sublicenses can now filter the Gradebook by all available licenses.

Payments Tab Accurate Dates

We have resolved an issue where transaction dates on the Payments tab were displaying as far-future years due to a timestamp unit mismatch. Administrators will now see accurate dates across all payment records.

This release expands what Conversational AI Learning, currently in beta, can search. Broader indexing means more precise, more complete answers, so learners get to the value of their content faster instead of hunting for it themselves. Alongside this, a couple of common admin and learner workflows got smoother and more convenient, details below. To enable Conversational AI Learning or any of our beta features, navigate to Apps > Labs.

Expanded Content Coverage for Conversational AI Learning

Conversational AI Learning now indexes three additional topic types, meeting info, workbook, and survey / tally, so learners can surface more of your content through conversational search without any configuration changes.

• Meeting info pages are now searchable by their title, subtitle, and attendee details, making it easier for learners to locate logistics and session information within courses.
• Workbook questions and prompts (titles, bodies, and instructor messages) are now included in search results, helping learners find relevant reflection and assessment content. Only instructor-authored prompts are indexed — learner responses and graded answer choices are never exposed.
• Survey and tally content follows the same pattern: question prompts are searchable, and tally score-tier feedback text is also indexed so learners can discover self-evaluation rubrics. Learner responses remain private.

All three types are activated automatically via the standard backfill, no per-type enablement or admin action is required.

External Customer ID Now Visible and Editable on Learner Profiles

Admins can now view and update a learner's External Customer ID (ECID) directly from their profile in the admin, making it easier to keep learner records in sync with external systems without leaving the platform

Editing is limited to users with the Site Admin role. If a learner has a linked manager account (dual-role), any ECID change is applied to both records automatically.

Conversational AI Learning Search Bar now on Learner Dashboard

Learners now have an entry point to Conversational AI Learning on the learner dashboard. The AI search bar is now available in many places throughout the Academy experience, giving learners quick access to AI-assisted search. See this article for more guidance.

FoxyCart Tracking Script Configuration

We have resolved an issue where FoxyCart tracking scripts could not be saved due to a data shape mismatch. Admins can now save tracking script configurations without errors.

Accurate Microsoft Teams Attendance Reporting

We have resolved an issue where the Total Attendees count for Microsoft Teams meeting-based events was inflated by including participants who joined the meeting URL outside of the scheduled window. The platform now applies a precise time filter to ensure the Event tab metrics correctly reflect only those who attended the actual session, aligning the count with Microsoft Teams attendance exports and internal learner logs.

Personalized BCC Emails on EU Infrastructure

We have resolved an issue where BCC copies of learner notification emails on EU infrastructure were not personalized when substitution variables were used, making it impossible for admins to identify which learner the email was sent to. BCC recipients on EU instances now receive properly personalized copies, matching the behavior on US infrastructure.

Multi-Value Support for Session and Course Group Bulk Imports

We have resolved an issue where session-level custom fields could not be updated with multiple values via CSV bulk import. Providing multiple values for a single field would cause the system to either overwrite the initial value or return a processing error. The bulk import tool now correctly recognizes and stores multiple values as an array for fields configured to support them.

This fix applies to ILT sessions, Live Event (webinar) sessions, and Course Groups. Additionally, the tool now provides clear error messaging if multiple values are supplied for a field that is restricted to a single value.

Reliable Submission and Feedback for Multi-Answer Quizzes

We resolved an issue where the "Submit" or "Check Answers" button would fail to appear on multi-answer quiz questions if no rejoinders (feedback text) were authored. Additionally, we fixed a bug that caused rejoinders to disappear if a learner refreshed their browser or resumed an in-progress quiz. Learners can now consistently submit their responses and maintain visibility into their feedback throughout their session.

Test Results Display Correctly After Submission

We have resolved an issue where learners clicking "See all Results" after completing a test were briefly shown the Start of Test screen before their results loaded. In some environments this delay lasted several seconds, causing confusion about whether a new attempt was starting. Learners now transition directly to their attempt results without seeing the start screen.

Re-Enrollment Now Correctly Retains Learner Progress

We have resolved an issue where re-enrolling a learner in a course didn’t automatically restore a previous completion status, making it incorrectly appear in the learner access widget as though the course was not completed.

Completion status is now restored automatically upon re-enrollment without any action required from the learner.
