When custom email settings are enabled, learners within this client will see a fully branded email experience. When you combine this with panorama branding, the client's logo and color scheme will display throughout the entire learning experience - from the landing page to invite emails to learner dashboard and within the content learner view.
Where do I find this?
Panorama > Actions > Edit > Design
How do I do this?
There are two settings related to branding inside of each panorama client:
- Enable Branding / Design
- Enable Custom Email Settings
You can enable or disable both settings options by navigating to Panorama > Actions > Edit > Settings > Primary.

Tip
If either of these options are disabled, the panorama will take on global site settings for branding and emails.
This article will focus on email settings specific to a panorama. To learn more about other branding areas like logos or colors, please see our article on Setting Custom Branding for a Panorama Account.
- From your homepage, select Panorama.
- Click the Actions drop-down next to the client you want to alter and select Edit.
Tip
Before Email options will appear on the Design page, you have to enable custom email settings in the Panorama. Go to Panorama > Actions > Edit > Settings > Primary to see this option and make sure to save!
- From the left menu on the page, select Design.
- Scroll past branding options to see the Email options, including:
- Email Fields
- Email Sender Authentication
- Email Layout
- Policies
- Remember to click save at the bottom of the Design page after each change.
Customizing the Email Settings in the Panorama:
Email Fields
From Address: Add the email address you would like learners to get emails from in this panorama.
From Name: Add the name you would like learners to get emails from in this panorama.
BCC Address: You can only choose one email for this field. This will be the email BCC'd on every communication we send to your learners.
Email Sender Authentication
By setting up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC on your DNS provider, you are validating that Thought Industries has the right to send emails on behalf of your organization, which means they're less likely to get caught in spam filters. These steps should be performed by a technical resource on your team, or whoever normally sets things up on your DNS provider.

Email Layouts
Email Header: Add information you would like to be in each email header sent to learners in this panorama. Otherwise only your logo will show above the email content.
Email Footer: Add information you would like to be in each email footer sent to learners in this panorama. The footer will display between the email content and the 'manage preferences' note at the bottom of the email.
Policies
Email Capture Terms: Displays in the purchase widget on a detail page when an email is captured because the content item is inaccessible to the learner.
