Question | Answer |
Where does grading show up? | Once a learner has submitted their assignment, the assignment will post in the Grading tab of the admin interface. The admin user will grade the assignment based on the grading configuration of the assignment. |
How will my learners see their grades? | The learner can see their grades by navigating back to the assignment page within the course. |
Can my learners resubmit videos? | Depends on the assignment and setup of the assignment. Individual assignments are typically intended for the learner to practice and upload multiple tries in which they can review and select which of their recordings they want to submit. |
What kind of reporting is available on Bongo video assessments? |
Bongo pages are considered assignments for reporting purposes and the data is reflected as such. The same metrics currently available for assignments are available for Bongo assignments as well. Admin can also view reporting on specific Bongo assignments in the Grading interface. |
How many admin users can use this feature? |
As long as the user has permission to create content, the user will have the ability to add Bongo pages to courses. Grading permissions are separate from course creation. |
What content types can I use Bongo with? | Bongo assessments are available in Course Content Types only. To set up a Bongo assessment, go into a course outline and add a Bongo Page (in the Other category at the bottom of the page options). |
Can Bongo assessments be used in Completion Criteria? | This feature is not currently tied to completion criteria in a course. |
Can I prevent my learners from moving forward in the course after taking a Bongo assessment? | Yes, you can use the toggle "Prevent Course Progress" to require a completed grade before the learner can continue in the course. |
Can I use all Bongo features in Panorama? | Bongo assignments have the option for Peer Review. Unfortunately, Peer Review does not allow for segmentation among learners by Client or Sublicense. Because of this, we strongly suggest that Peer Review is not used for any course provisioned to a Panorama Client. The setting must be disabled when configuring the assignment as the setting will default to "Yes". |
Does Bongo support all browsers? | Bongo video assessments only support specific browsers for certain features. Video Recording specifically is not supported on Safari or IE. See Bongo's Browser Compatibility article for more information. |

What's next for Bongo? | We're so excited to launch this first level of video assessment features with Bongo Video Assessments, but we also have a few items on our radar that we'd like to roll out in the future (subject to change). These items currently include Notifications for Admin related to Bongo assessments, Theming (ability to change how Bongo looks to learners), and tying Bongo assessments to Completion Criteria. |
