Sublicense Management Table View
Do you manage a high volume of sublicenses in panorama? Introducing a new sublicense table view!
On the table view, you can now search for a sublicense or use filters to narrow it down and easily find what you're looking for. You can filter by Sublicense Name or whether or not custom branding is enabled.
This new table view is behind a feature flag.
Reach out to Thought Industries Tech Success & Support for assistance to enable this feature in your instance.
After the layout is enabled on your instance, you can view it by going to Panorama > Actions > Edit > Sublicenses > Click the Gear Icon > Choose Table.
Learner Client Name as Certificate and Transcript Field
You can now display the Learner's Client Name (the panorama the learner is assigned to) on a Certificate or Transcript.
To add the certificate/transcript field:
- Go to Settings > Certification.
- Go to the Certificate and Transcript Fields section.
- Click Add Certificate Field.
- Add a label to identify the new field.
- Choose if you would like it to display on transcripts.
- Select the Learner Client Name for Type.
- Don't forget to Save!
Management Actions Log - Permissions and Roles Updates
Need to know when a custom role's permissions got updated? Or maybe someone's role got updated and you're not sure why. Head to Management Actions Log!
We now track and report on custom role permission changes as well as updates to user roles.
New Action Types:
This Action Type means that a custom role's permissions got updated. To view the differences, we recommend running the Management Actions Log and downloading the results to compare before and after.
This Action Type means that a user's role got updated. View the Action Details Column to know what the user's role was before and after the update.
Reporting Hub - Field Descriptions in Explore
If you're creating a lot of custom reports, this one is for you! We've added field descriptions in Looker when you are exploring and building reports.
To view the field descriptions, go to Reporting Hub > Explore > Click on any starting question > Expand a field menu and click the "info" icon next to the field you would like to see a description for.
VILT Bulk Course Group Creation
The ability to import vILT course groups in bulk is here! We have expanded our bulk import functionality to our vILTs/webinars. Import up to 100 webinars at a time via the bulk import interface or API.
Once imported, the webinars will be their own individual piece of content (aka course group). Next, use the existing session import CSV to import additional webinars as sessions to the course group you just created. The import process can be used to create and update.
Check back soon for a support article with more details on this bulk import process.
Block Registration Marketing Email Opt In by Country
Expanding on our Registration Page and Newsletter Opt-in functionality, we have added the new field 'Block learner registration checkbox by country.' The setting is found in Settings > Setup > Primary > Registration Container.
When the newsletter setting is enabled for the registration page, you will have the option to enter countries where the checkbox should not display. When countries are entered, the learner will not see the checkbox to opt into the newsletter if the IP Address location is in one of the countries listed.
Bongo Assignment Reporting
Bongo final grades now display in course level assignment reports! Go to Content > Manage Content and locate any course utilizing a Bongo assessment. Click on the Course Title to access the outline. Click on Release and then Reporting. Lastly, go to the Assignments tab.
Heads Up: Content Authoring Legacy UI will be Removed
In the major feature release currently scheduled for the end of April (2022.4), the recently redesigned content management and authoring interfaces will become the default experience for all users, at the site and Panorama levels.
We will be sunsetting our legacy authoring interface, and the button to switch back to it will be removed from the UI. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your CSM for more information.
