Spring is here and we're releasing lots of fresh features!

Ever wonder if there is a useful feature available in Thought Industries that you or your team aren't utilizing? With our new Control Panel you won't have to wonder any more!

Navigate to Account > Control Panel to check out additional features and functionality active on your learning site. From the new interface, you can customize your platform experience by requesting to enable features relevant to your use case and get broader insight into premium features available to add to your contract and more. If you see something you'd like to learn more about, you can click on it for more info and even request it be enabled on your account.

Sending & Scheduling

Admins now have the ability to send and schedule reports! 🎉  Sending & Scheduling allows you to share your data outside of the platform via email or other forms of delivery.

Favoriting

Users can now favorite native and custom Dashboards to access your data quicker and easier. Find any favorited dashboard under My Favorites in the Reporting Hub.

Folder Flexibility

Edit or delete your custom Look/Dashboard folder labels for further flexibility when categorizing and organizing. Select the folder and hover over the folder name to see the pencil or trash icon options for that folder.

Learning Path Catalog Settings

Learning paths help drive learner engagement by creating a curated training journey. These enhancements will allow admins to configure learning path settings just as they would for a course, to showcase the full breadth of information available for learning paths.

All new settings can be found by going to Content > Actions > Settings > Catalog for a learning path.

• Add tabs to the learning path detail page
  • Add tabs to the detail page to include more information about instructors, offer products related to the learning path, or any other free text you may need.
    
    
    
• Add a Preview Video
  • Replace a static image on the detail page with a cool preview video instead!
    
    
• Add Related Content
  • Promote content related to the learning path on the detail page.
    
    
    
• Advanced Settings
  • Add a Source, Author, External Detail Page link, or even update the learning path detail page URL.
    
    

Learning Path Ecommerce Settings

Learning Paths are now taxable! You'll see a toggle to make a Learning Path taxable under Ecommerce settings in the learning path. 

Native localization is being enhanced to allow for language preference to be set at the learner vs. site level. This will result in a more personalized experience, allowing the site to automatically filter and present content based on the specific learner.

Updates include:

• Ability to set learner language preference via SSO or API
• Ability to manually set a learner’s language preference within their profile
• Ability to bulk import learner language preference
• Ability to enable localization without needing the language selector enabled
• Language preference reverts back to site default when localization is disabled

Create/Update License API

'enablebranding' exposed to allow for bulk management via API of license separation settings. Improves efficiency by removing the need to enable branding on each individual sublicense.

We are improving the ability to manage virtual events (VILT) with multiple meetings at scale by enhancing session-level control, including:

• Ability to update virtual recurring meeting details via CSV of API bulk import feature
• Ability to create and update multiple meetings in a single VILT session via CSV or API bulk import feature

BI Connector enhancements include:

• 'parentLicenseId' added to the licenses table
• 'milestoneCourses' table added to view which courses are included as milestones in Learning Paths
